Post-Penis Surgery Methods for Continued Penile Enlargement (After Augmentation)

Penis size is a huge concern to many men. Many consider having a larger penis a mark of masculinity. This has led to various methods and procedures solely devoted to penis enlargement.

Phalloplasty requires two separate procedures: one to lengthen the penis and another to increase girth. Penis lengthening involves making an incision at the base of the penis and snipping the ligament that anchors it to the pubic bone. Penis widening, on the other hand, adds girth to the penis. This requires the insertion of a filler material under the skin of the penis. It can be done through fat transfer, grafting or by laser surgery. It can increase girth by up to 30 percent.

Financially, penis enhancement surgery vary; but generally penile lengthening ranges from $4000 - $6,000 and penile widening, from $7,000 - $8,000.

As with most other procedures, phalloplasty gives no guarantees regarding final penis size. But most surgeons recommend traction or weight program as a post-operative method. After the stitches and incisions are sealed, weights and other forms of traction are hung from the penis to sustain or even increase the length.

After a penile implant, when a man desires an erection, he uses the device to transfer fluid to the cylinders. The cylinders expand, enlarging or "erecting" the penis.

The cost of penile implants (including device, medical procedure, and after-care) usually ranges from $15,000 - $35,000

Three-piece inflatable penile implants

Three-piece penile implants are the most technologically advanced device. They are totally concealed within the body. Urologists consider the 3-piece inflatable implant to be the "gold standard" of penile implants.

Placement. During placement of the device, the patient usually is under general anesthesia. A skilled urologist trained in prosthetic urology performs the simple procedure. The procedure generally is on an outpatient basis, commonly called a "23-hour stay."

Although pumps do work temporarily (usually
for about half an hour) this is unsuitable for surprise occasions,
also these pumps have been known to leave scars, bruises and in
some cases gangrene, causing much pain to the penis.
Pumps "supposedly" work by placing a tube over your penis and
then pumping the air out of the tube. This temporarily swells the
penis, but does not increase the blood capacity in the cells of the
penis which is necessary to achieve permanent size gains
